Facials & Face

Q.
How do I make my pores smaller?
A.

At Debora's Beauty Studio, we use Dermapen Micro Needling. This treatment triggers collagen production through a micro-needling technique that Debora is specialised in.

During the treatment, ultra thin needles create minuscule columns in the dermis, which triggers the skin's healing abilities. As the skin heals, it refreshes itself with new skin cells resulting in firmer, smoother skin.

The treatment can also treat a range of skin issues, from wrinkles and acne scars to stretch marks and sagging skin too.

Q.
How do I get rid of my double-chin?
A.

We use a radio frequency machine which repairs the fibro-blast cells. These fibro-blast cells make up the connective tissue and lose elasticity as we age. Many clients have given positive feedback on this and you can see immediate results from the radio frequency treatment.

Q.
How do I slow the ageing process on my skin?
A.

We can offer an Environ Facial Treatment. This is because it is a cosmeceutical treatment and penetrates deep in the skin. The treatment is vitamin based including vit-A, vit-C, and vit-E.

Skin Services

Q.
How do I get rid of dark circles under my eyes?
A.

To help get rid of dark circles, we offer an Environ treatment which stimulates more blood and oxygen to that area of the skin. The treatment is part of our sonophoresis method where we use ultra-sound to appy the product. Ultra-sound is pain-free and this will repair the damage caused and re-oxygenate the area to improve appearance through hyper absorption. At Debora's Beauty Studio we use the proven Environ Ionzyme DF for the removal of dark circles.

Q.
How can I get wrinkles to disappear without Botox?
A.

For you not to have botox, you will need to take care of your skin and start using the right anti-ageing products that an anaesthetic consultant can help with. The right products will help you if you use them quite religiously and correctly. Additionally, we recommend to have facials too. We would offer Radio Frequency facials, Environ anti-ageing facials, and according to Debora's prior skin consultation as an assessment would be needed firstly to determine the correct treatment. Wrinkles and wrinkle treatments depend on a lot of different factors and also a degree of willpower to take care of your skin e.g., minimal sun exposure, healthy diet, drinking lots of water, and anti-ageing facials too.

Q.
Does Endermologie Cellulite Treatment hurt and work?
A.

Endermologie cellulite treatment is painless and works very well. It is a relaxing treatment. We would need to first assess how deep the cellulite is. According to your grade of cellulite, we will customise the treatment and offer you a certain amount of sessions including after care and we will need to review your diet too.

Q.
What skin treatments are safe during pregnancy?
A.

Facials, gentle massages to alleviate pressure on the back, and waxing. It is also important to use natural products too. Taking care of your skin and getting massages are relaxing therapies that not only help the skin and boost confidence but also help reduce stress which is good for you and your baby too.

Laser Treatment Questions

Q.
Can laser treatment help acne?
A.

Studies show that lasers and other light treatments can reduce acne. Rarely can these treatments alone clear acne. To give you the best results, your dermatologist may recommend using another acne treatment, such as medicine that you apply to your skin or visiting beauty clinics to help with aesthetics post acne treatments/removal.

Q.
Can laser treatments help remove dark spots and pigmentation?
A.

Yes, however, it all depends upon consultation. This is because pigmentation/dark circles can be due to various factors such as sun, hormones, and ageing. A consultation will be needed to address and we have treated clients with laser and achieved great results.

Q.
Can skin laser treatment cause cancer?
A.

The lasers used in laser hair removal do produce a small amount of radiation. However, this radiation is not thought to be harmful, and there is no evidence that laser hair removal therapy causes skin cancer.
